The dream of being a footballer was cut short with injury at the tender age of 17 so I chose the next best exciting profession of accountancy. After a few initial years of working in food and retail in London, I then spent 20 years at Bowmer & Kirkland, initially as a management accountant with companies in M&E, data cabling, building automated control panels and FM. With my family, I then moved to Ireland to be managing director of one of its subsidiaries in steel reinforcement, before moving back to the UK as operations director of another subsidiary in Key Joinery.
Even though I now work here in Kent, my wife and three kids are still in Derby so I get the best of both coast and countryside. In the endless pursuit of perfection (somewhat like my golf!), I love working with the team at Denne Joinery as we pursue our vision.
