LEVEL 43, 22 BISHOPSGATE
A fast-paced office expansion with long-lasting results
A fast-paced office expansion with long-lasting results
In April 2024, a London-based insurance group was looking to expand their largest London office at 22 Bishopsgate. Within a few short weeks through to July, we collaborated with Overbury to flesh out the customer’s vision to revitalise their workspace.
The scope of works included new solid oak timber slatted panelling across 37 metres of their full core wall in the entrance foyer and in front of the meeting rooms. We installed a new facilities and IT service desk, showers, and floating oak-veneered credenzas to their prestigious 10-person meetings rooms, completed with Corian work surfaces.
Their new print rooms have both a warm and cool feel to their design, utilising the tones of the oak timber slats and contrasting silver anodised slats in other areas. Early planning and coordination from our dedicated team made the curved slatted walls effortless to install.
The focus on this project was sustainability and the architectural team proposed using high-quality, durable and sustainable Polygood countertops to their main facilities desk and copy points, as well as tea point areas and island units constructed from 20mm of thick Topaz – made from recycled glass work surfaces.
We completed all the works ahead of schedule, and the brilliant feedback from our customer Overbury highlighted the exceptional bespoke joinery produced and installed. They described the works as a “great project delivered,” which is a true testament to the hard work all the team members put in. Once again, this showcases our dedication to keep our customers’ best interests at heart.
