Sophisticated and comprehensive joinery package for high-profile winery visitor experience centre.
Sophisticated and comprehensive joinery package for high-profile winery visitor experience centre.
We were proud to collaborate with Domaine Evremond and Anthony Bowles Architecture Ltd to bring an ambitious and immersive winery visitor experience centre to life. Located in the heart of the Kent countryside, this distinctive project combined innovative design with traditional craftsmanship, resulting in a refined and welcoming space that embodied elegance and sophistication.
As a high-profile development, the winery required a high-quality and comprehensive bespoke joinery package. We were entrusted with delivering bespoke, high-spec solutions, each element handcrafted with precision and care in our Bramling workshop to align with the project’s vision and standards.
The scope of work included a vast array of joinery elements, each serving both functional and aesthetic purposes within the visitor centre. The entrance gates were crafted as a bold statement piece, establishing a memorable first impression. At the heart of the space, the main wine bar was wrapped in polished plaster with brass-toned detailing, acting as a striking focal point. The reception desk and ceiling panels were finished in seamless polished plaster and paired with fire-rated, fabric-wrapped timber ceiling panels, complete with integrated lighting for added warmth and atmosphere.
Retail and media display units were constructed from lime-washed real oak veneer and accented with bespoke powder-coated metalwork to create visual consistency. The TV display unit featured integrated fabric panels and echoed the materials used throughout the space. Luxurious seating booths were supported by solid timber frameworks and topped with fabric-wrapped ceiling panels. A vibrant blue and brass flake Verdigris finish, expertly applied by Capisco Ltd, was used on select wall panels and the wrap-around bar, lending a distinctive richness and depth to the environment.
Each component of the project reflected our dedication to craftsmanship, design integrity and detail. Great care was taken to harmonise finishes across the space – from polished plaster to powder-coated metals – ensuring a cohesive and elegant result. Our in-house team of craftspeople navigated complex materials and bespoke fabrication requirements while working closely with the interior designers and contractors to ensure alignment at every stage. Whether perfecting junctions or adapting installations to accommodate last-minute design changes, precision remained a top priority.
Feedback from all involved parties was overwhelmingly positive. One project stakeholder commented, “Out of 5, 100. Oh, fantastic. Just very, very responsive and efficient customer service. The end result was always faultless. Your team was so flexible, even installing on a Saturday to help us meet an important event deadline. It’s been perfect.” AB, Lead Designer at Anthony Bowles Architecture Ltd, added, “You zeroed in on details and refinements we hadn’t even picked up. Getting those calls about junctions and finishes—it showed real attention. Honestly, the whole thing was faultless.” Another stakeholder summed it up: “It was a joy from start to finish—deeply efficient, incredibly professional, and above all, kind and easy to work with.”
With the visitor centre now open and receiving acclaim, we take great pride in having contributed to a project that so successfully combines form and function. The result is a space that not only celebrates the heritage and innovation of the Kent countryside but also elevates the winery experience for every guest who walks through its doors.
