Join us in welcoming our new Senior Project Manager, Adam Payne

We are pleased to welcome Adam Payne, who joins Denne Joinery as a Senior Project Manager, starting with the Fidelis project at Level 43, 22 Bishopsgate London for our client Overbury.

Adam, our newly appointed Senior Project Manager, brings a wealth of experience and passion to Denne Joinery. With over 25 years in the industry, Adam’s journey began as an apprentice bench joiner, after completing work experience with his father. His career trajectory evolved from the workshop to CAD design, then to site under the mentorship of projects and contracts managers until he found his niche in project management. Today he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and has a well-rounded background with experience in all aspects of the joinery process from estimating to Project Director.

Adam’s career highlights include leading an intricate external panelling project in Fenchurch Street – navigating structural challenges and ensuring pedestrian safety amidst the busy London footpath. Communication and coordination are at the heart of his approach, ensuring a cohesive workflow from design, through production and to installation on site. His regular presence on-site epitomises his dedication to project success, ensuring daily client communication and visibility.

Since joining us on 2 April 2024, Adam has been leading the Fidelis project for our client Overbury at 22 Bishopsgate in London. The scope includes bespoke joinery for the breakout area, island units, feature wall panelling, meeting room slatted panels, booth seating and print areas—blending laminate with veneer to deliver a sophisticated aesthetic.

Scheduled to commence on-site from 27 May and with a targeted handover to Overbury on 28 June, this project prioritises environmental sustainability, aligning with BREEAM certification standards. Our FSC® status and incorporation of recycled plastic and glass for the island unit and print area countertops all underscore our dedication to meeting client expectations and industry benchmarks.

With such an impressive career to date, Adam encourages aspiring joiners to explore the multifaceted career paths within the industry. His journey emphasises that there’s more to joinery than the workbench alone. Welcome to the team Adam – wishing you all the best as a member of the Denne Joinery team!
